General Manager, Stephen Holland
Prior to joining Verve, Stephen Holland spent 15 years in the hospitality industry from one Canadian coast to the other. His management and customer service experience provides the staff and residents with the highest standard of leadership and service excellence. Stephen is passionate about quality in senior’s care, supporting family members, and creating a positive work environment.
Since 2017, Stephen has provided leadership as a General Manager and Area Manager with Verve Senior Living. Stephen’s ongoing commitment to residents and team members is evident in all areas of the business and his core philosophy of engagement can be felt by all. These core values and those of Verve Senior Living will continue to be at the forefront at The Shores of Port Credit.
Health and Wellness Manager, Jana Simpson
Jana Simpson has been a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) serving the older adult population since 2007. She comes to The Shores with over a decade’s experience working in the Senior Living industry and as a Health and Wellness Manager. Jana insists on the highest quality of care and excellent customer service through effectively leading an empowered and highly skilled health and wellness team. She’s a real stickler for compliance and regulatory guidelines and is our expert on regulations and corporate policies.
Lifestyle Consultant, Milyda Scott
After a successful career in consulting, sales and marketing in the hospitality and media industry, Milyda Scott was able to transfer her skills to the senior living industry with her ability to ensure and surpass customer service standards. Milyda has dedicated the past 6 years in the senior living industry having worked with more than 3000 families.
Lifestyle Consultant, Katherine Mayers
Katherine Mayers is no stranger to the sales and marketing world having worked almost 20 years in the hospitality industry in some of the top hotels in the City of Toronto. Although Katherine is new to Senior Living, she is not new to working alongside seniors and their families. Most recently having worked with travel companies helping seniors plan cross-Canada vacations.
Office Manager, Patricia Szczepanik
Patricia Szczepanik has been working with seniors for 10 years now, having started her career as an Activation Coordinator. She went on to finish her Bachelor of Arts with honours in Gerontology and is bringing all those skills to the team as the Office Manager for The Shores of Port Credit. Patricia brings her creative and joyful personality to the leadership team and is excited to be gaining the experience of opening a new senior living residence. She has found her calling in serving seniors and continues to find a path that honours these members of our community.
